He is the image of the invisible God
First-born of all creation
In Him all was made,
the heavens and earth
All things created through Him.

He is before all things
And in Him all things hold together
In him the fullness of God
was pleased to dwell
He is the glory of God
Bearing the stamp of His nature
Upholding the universe by His word.

Verse 2
And in His being all things are made one
All that was once divided
Heaven and earth united through Him
Peace by the blood of His cross.
